The Governors of The Federation of Newent Schools are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, conscientious and suitably qualified Teaching Assistant to inspire and motivate children under the direction of the class teacher/SENDCO. This role is term time only (excluding Inset days), for 27.5 hours per week. The hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.30am - 3.00pm.

 

Relevant experience and qualifications of at least NVQ 3 is desirable along with experience of supporting children in a Primary setting. In return the successful candidate will find themself among supportive staff, governors and parents in an extremely caring and happy school with strong links with the local community.

 

The job would involve providing a range of classroom and small group support within a primary setting. The successful candidate will demonstrate that they can support children with a range of needs. The successful candidate would be working as part of a team alongside the SENDCo/Class Teacher to plan, prepare and deliver creative and inspiring learning opportunities that meet the needs of the children.

This role is term time only (excluding Inset days), for 28.75 hours per week. The hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.30am - 3.15pm.

In return the successful candidate will find themself among supportive staff, governors and parents in an extremely caring and happy school with strong links with the local community.

 

The job would involve providing a range of one-to-one support within a primary setting. The successful candidate will demonstrate that they can support a specific child with complex SEN needs. The successful candidate would be working as part of a team alongside the SENDCo/ Pastoral lead to plan, prepare and deliver creative and inspiring learning opportunities that meet the needs of the individual.
